How to Adopt an Occamy
1. Choose a teapot
Select a vintage teapot (using the dropdown picker above) for your Occamy to nest in — each one is unique and one of a kind.
2. Creation begins
After you place your order, I'll begin sculpting your creature, transforming the teapot into a fixed display piece. Each creation takes 2-4 weeks to complete.
3. Receive your companion
Your Occamy arrives with an official adoption certificate — ready to meet their new guardian!
Details
Inspired by the magical beasts of wizarding lore, this handcrafted sculpture features a vibrant Occamy nestled safely in its teapot. Its iridescent feathers shimmer in hues of blues, teals, purples, and pinks, with just a hint of mischief in its watchful eyes.
A must-have for every witch or wizard, and fans of magical creatures.
Note: As each Occamy is handcrafted, there will be slight colour, pattern or shape differences depending on the size of the teapot.
Features:
- Hand-Sculpted & Cast: The Occamy head was hand-sculpted, molded, and cast in resin before being finished with a serpentine body, delicate feathering and hand-painted detail work.
- Fixed Display Piece: The Occamy is securely nestled inside the pot and is not removable. The lid is detached and positioned off to the side.
- Upcycled pot: Each teapot or sugar pot is thrifted, making every Occamy home truly unique.
- Mixed Media Creation: Combines sculpting, resin, feathers, paint, and found materials to create a rich, layered art piece.

Every art piece is handcrafted and packaged with care from my Ottawa studio.
